fame

Do you remember when you were a 7yr old, you used to watch your favourite band doing a concert on the television, you used to sing, dance and think "one day, when I grow up I'm going to be just like them." Fame is such a desire in peoples heart, to be known, to have people you've never meet talk abut you, to have you photograph taken and your autograph begged for.

"  FAME stands for Fleeting And Momentary Elevation. "
Brian Houston

There are three of us in the band. Each of us are in our own unique relationship with God and I think that this is what will hold us together, allow us to overcome challenges and help our vision of our band to be fulfilled. Having the same faith creates the same values and with these our unity is stronger. I think as a band the hardest ongoing challenge we will face is knowing that being a band is not about fleeting, momentary elevation but about using our gifts from God and giving them back to him by using them to create music which speaks to people souls. music which brings people closer to God. music which worships and praises him. music which turns peoples days around. music which creates an environment of love, peace, joy. music which brings glory to God and not to us.

broken faces

they are lost.  broken. empty. they lack joy, strength, a voice....

they cry because they don't think anyone cares, they feel broken because they have felt too much hurt, they are scared because they don't think it will ever get better, they live life with the mindset "I am worthless."

They don't know love.

.....

ARE YOU A FOOL TO THINK YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD?
no.

love them

help them

care for them

pray for them

make a smile on their faces

bless them and show them how blessed they are

be his ambassador and let him make his appeal through YOU.

BIG H little h

Today I walked into class and was talking to one of my Christian friends about people's beliefs in Heaven and hell. A nonChristan overheard our conversation and told us that "Heaven was designed to force people in to Christianity." I couldn't help but feel sorry for her. After all isn't the big question in life, where you will end up when it is all over? are you going to be in the big H or the little h? It just broke my heart to realise that if she was to die at that moment, an awesome, talented soul and daughter of God, she would be in a place with no love, passion, hope or faith. It really stirred me to make sure every action I am doing is an act to build the house of God. I mean, how much can you hate a person to not want to save their soul? John 3:16 - Jesus died for all of us, so we could all have eternal life in Heaven - should we not help our brothers and sisters to take hold of this awesome oppurtunity?

The Shack

The Shack is probably as beautiful as books can get. It's on of those books which you can't read and not get something out of, but what that 'something' is, I can't tell you because it will be different for you as it was for me. What I can say is that from it, you'll find yourself in you own eternal shack filled with all the joy, freedom, faith and love you can fathom.

"Does that mean," asked Mack, "that all roads will lead to you?" "Not at all," smiled Jesus..."Most roads don't lead anywhere. What it does mean is that I will travel any road to find you."
